Sinclair lived in 10 acres where he was allowed to roam and run and play at his hearts content. He had a "brother" dog named Scout and together they owned the world. Then his owners decided that they would rather travel than take care of Sinclair - the dog they had raised from a puppy and cared for over the last 5 years. Leaving the dogs with an occasional care taker to "check" on them, the dogs became neglected and needed to be relocated. Sinclair (and his adopted brother Scout) were brought to Boxers and Buddies.

When they arrived they were emaciated, their fur falling out in huge chunks and nervous and scared in their new environment.

Sinclair is adjusting well, he loves other dogs and is friendly and playful. Unfortunately, the stress of the kennel makes it hard for him to eat, and he is not gaining weight like we would hope. Hopefully a home environment will be much more comfortable and relaxed, and allow Sinclair to put some meat on his bones!

Sinclair is a typical husky and if you're not familiar with the breed we suggest you check out:

Huskies are great dogs but not for everyone. Their long hair requires brushing, they're heavy shedders and many, like Sinclair put Houdini to shame when it comes to finding ways out of enclosures.

1/10/10 Cat Test results:

Sinclair looked at the cat and gave it a quick sniff. Then he walked away. When the cat moved he showed mild curiosity, but no fixation behaviors. He was much more interested in the though of going on a walk then the cat.

If Sinclair still sounds like the right dog for you, please click on the link below and fill out an adoption application. You won't be disappointed. Sinclair is a great dog.
